NCC has many years of expertise in the evaluation – identification of automated recordings of bird detection and wind turbine collision avoidance and stopping systems, based on real-time high definition image analysis. The specialized researchers, through access to the data registration platform collected by the respective automated system, proceed to analyze the data and compare it with the corresponding field data collected from the visual recordings with the aim of evaluating the operation of the automated system with the use of efficiency indicators.
