An Environmental Monitoring Program was drawn up in the installation area of the Independent Natural Gas System (IGSS) of Alexandroupolis during the construction phase which included:

• Monitoring Plan for marine mammals and sea turtles in the Project installation area
• Air and Sea Noise Monitoring Program in the Project installation area
• Program for Monitoring the Ecological Status of Marine Ecosystems with Seabirds and Sea Turtles as Bioindicators – Study of Lighting Effects on Fish and Birds
