She is an oceanographer with a strong marine biosciences, toxicology, and environmental research background. She holds a B.Sc. in Oceanography and Marine Biosciences from the University of the Aegean and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Systems Biology at the Agricultural University of Athens. With research experience in marine biodiversity, heavy metal biomonitoring, and molecular biology, Angeliki has contributed to projects at institutions like the Hellenic Center for Marine Research and the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens. Her expertise spans marine conservation, water quality assessment, and ecosystem monitoring, supporting NCC’s mission of protecting and managing marine Natura 2000 sites.
