Conservation & Management of the Bonelli’s eagle population in east Mediterranean (LIFE17 NAT/GR/000514)
The aim of the project is the long-term maintenance of the good conservation status of the Spisaetos in the Eastern Mediterranean by addressing the most critical threats to the species in Greece and Cyprus. The main actions of the project are to improve knowledge about the Spiny Eagle and the risks it faces, reduce its mortality, improve its reproduction, improve the technical and operational capacities of stakeholders, and create a network for the species to transfer knowledge and experience on these issues across the Eastern Mediterranean.
