On February 24th, the NCC team visited the island of Agios Nikólaos of the island group of Mákares east of Naxos, in order to install microphones, trail cameras and PTZ cameras on the Yelkouan shearwater colony. The goal is to study the breeding phenology of the species using modern remote monitoring technologies. The effort will continue with regular visits within the following months.
