NCC has many years of expertise in the evaluation and identification of automated recording systems used to detect and prevent bird strikes and wind turbine shutdowns. These systems record data resulting from the automated analysis of high-resolution images in real time. NCC’s expert researchers, through their access to the data entry platform of each automated system, proceed to analyse and compare this data with the corresponding field data collected from visual recordings. On the basis of this comparative analysis and through the use of efficiency indicators, they proceed to evaluate the operation of the automated system under consideration.
