DESCRIPTION:
Conservation and Management of the Lesser Kestrel (Falco naumanni) in 3 Special Protection Areas (SPAs) in Greece (LIFE11 NAT/GR/01011)
The aim of the project was to enable the sustainable conservation of the Common Lesser Kestrel in the 3 ZEPs that host more than 75% of the Greek population and 6% of the EU population of the species. In order to ensure the conservation of the species’ population in these areas, a focused action plan has been designed, based on which all necessary management, communication and research actions have been implemented.
