{"id":987618841,"date":"2026-10-15T06:39:47","date_gmt":"2026-10-15T06:39:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/n2c.gr\/erwc-is-changing-its-name-to-ecosymbia\/"},"modified":"2026-10-15T07:26:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T07:26:08","slug":"erwc-is-changing-its-name-to-ecosymbia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/n2c.gr\/en\/erwc-is-changing-its-name-to-ecosymbia\/","title":{"rendered":"ERWC is changing its name to EcoSymbia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The strategic partnership of European ecological consultancies, co-founded by Nature Conservation Consultants (NCC), continues its journey under a new name that reflects the full breadth of its work.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European Renewable Energy and Wildlife Consortium (ERWC) is being renamed <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecosymbia.com\/\">EcoSymbia<\/a><\/strong>. The consortium <a href=\"https:\/\/n2c.gr\/en\/european-renewable-energy-wildlife-consortium-erwc-established\/\">was founded in Paris in June 2024<\/a> by environmental consulting firms from various European countries, with the aim of supporting the responsible development of renewable energy sources while protecting nature.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the two years since, the partners\u2019 collaboration has broadened beyond its original focus on renewable energy and wildlife. The new name reflects that growth. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today EcoSymbia brings together five partners, twelve companies and more than 550 experts. The partners are Waardenburg Ecology (Netherlands), the \u00c9cosph\u00e8re Group (France), OIKON (Croatia), BioInsight (Portugal) and NCC (Greece), together with their subsidiaries and collaborating companies.<br\/><br\/> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within EcoSymbia, NCC contributes its experience in Mediterranean ecosystems, on land and at sea.
